​Visit Wales Local Focus - What Makes Us Special?

The Slate Caverns, any everything it has to offer is generally pretty special. But what makes us stand out ahead of other attractions in North Wales?

We wouldn’t be where we are today without two crucial aspects. Firstly, and most important of all, are our fabulous and passionate staff, many of whom are born and bred in the local area and have the knowledge of Llechwedd that is second to none.

Secondly, where ever possible, we use only local produce. Be it local beers and cheese in the gift shop, local ingredients in the cafe, even locally sourced topping for our delicious pizza’s - North Wales is key to what we do.
