Experienced from the point of view of the mine workers, the tour uses cutting edge technology to tell the story of their blood and guts, their determination and resilience, their risk and endeavour.

Clever use of cutting-edge technology including augmented reality, light projections,video, 3D audio and special effects, vividly brings to life the working life of the men and boys who produced the slate which roofed so much of the world.
